Section 1. Purpose
The Tampa Bay FemDom Society (“the Society”) is committed to maintaining a safe, consensual, and respectful community. This policy establishes the procedures for reporting, reviewing, and resolving alleged consent violations, while ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability for all parties involved.
Section 2. Definitions
- Consent Violation – Any action or behavior that disregards, overrides, or violates the expressed consent of another member.
- Report – A formal notification submitted by a member or witness alleging a consent violation.
- Probationary Status – Temporary restriction of privileges imposed on a member under review.
- Board of Dommes – The governing body responsible for reviewing all consent violation reports and determining outcomes.
- False Accusation – A knowingly fabricated or malicious report made with the intent to harm another member or misuse this policy.
Section 3. Reporting Process
- Any member or nonmember who experiences or witnesses a potential consent violation may file a report.
- Reports may be submitted:
- In writing through the online form; or
- Verbally to any Board of Dommes member, who must document the report in writing.
- Anonymous reports will be accepted; however, the Board’s ability to investigate may be limited in such cases.
Section 4. Immediate Response
- Upon receipt of a report, the accused member shall be notified and placed on probationary status pending review.
- While under probation, the accused member:
- May continue attending events only at the discretion of the Board; and
- Shall be prohibited from holding leadership roles, teaching, or formally representing the Society.
- Probationary status shall remain in effect until the review process is completed.
Section 5. Formal Review Procedure
- The Board of Dommes shall conduct a formal review of the report within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The review shall include, but not be limited to:
- Interviews with the reporting party, accused member, and any witnesses;
- Review of relevant documentation or evidence; and
- An opportunity for both the reporting and accused parties to be heard.
- All proceedings shall be conducted confidentially. The final determination, however, shall be transparent and recorded in the Society’s official records.
Section 6 - Outcomes and Penalties
Following the review, the Board of Dommes may impose one or more of the following outcomes:
- No Violation Found – Probationary status lifted; member restored to good standing.
- Monetary Fine – A financial penalty assessed in proportion to the severity of the violation.
- Suspension – Temporary revocation of membership rights and event access.
- Expulsion – Permanent removal of the member from the Society.
- False Accusation – If it is determined that a report was knowingly false or malicious, the reporting member shall be subject to penalties equivalent to those described in this Section.
Section 7. Transparency and Accountability
- The Society shall maintain records of all consent violation reports and outcomes.
- Aggregate data (e.g., number of reports received, outcomes issued) may be shared with the membership in quarterly or annual updates to ensure accountability, without disclosing confidential details.
- Members shall have the right to appeal a decision within fourteen (14) days of the Board’s determination. Appeals will trigger a secondary review by the Board of Dommes.
Section 8. Enforcement
This policy shall be enforced by the Board of Dommes and applies to all members, regardless of status or role within the Society.
